Who is Learn Sugar for?
Working adults who need to earn or renew a professional or technical certification—not people looking for a casual intro to a hobby. We assume you’re already strong in your field and want a credible path to the credential, with material sized for short study sessions rather than long lecture blocks.
I’m new to the topic my certification covers. Is that okay?
Yes. You still have to learn what the exam or standard requires; we don’t skip that. We just don’t write courses as if you want to become a lifelong enthusiast in a new domain—we focus on what you need to demonstrate for the credential.
Is Learn Sugar a government agency or credential issuer?
No. Learn Sugar is independent training—not a government agency or credential issuer. Confirm requirements, scheduling, and fees with the official authority for your certification.
Will you use AI in the courses?
Yes—that’s on the roadmap: help that spots weak areas and adapts practice so you spend time where it matters most. Today’s offerings are efficient, focused prep; fuller AI-embedded experiences will roll out as we expand.
Enrollment & billing
Do I need an account?
You can browse public pages without an account. You’ll need an account to enroll, access lessons and quizzes, and view certificates or transcripts.
Where can I see what you offer?
Visit the Courses page for current programs. Category pages group offerings by industry or topic as we add more.
Is this a subscription?
No. Part 107 prep is $29.99 for 1 month of access per enrollment. It is not an auto-renewing subscription — nothing auto-charges. Renew from your dashboard when you are within 7 days of expiration or after access has expired.
Studying & exam prep
How much time does studying take?
It depends on the program and your starting point. Learn Sugar is built so you can make progress in small sessions (for example 15–20 minutes) instead of clearing multi-hour blocks on your calendar.
What are phases and sprints?
In our Part 107 prep, the Learning Board has six phases (including Practice Exams). Most phases have three skill sets—Teach Me briefings, optional Teach Me More slideshows, and question practice. Finish all three skill sets in a phase to unlock its readiness score, then use Practice Exams when you are prepared.
How does a sprint work?
Each sprint is one exam topic inside a skill set—for example Planning or Weather inside Preflight. Open a sprint from the Learning Board to read a Teach Me briefing (Overview, Critical Info, and Check Yourself flip cards), work through optional Teach Me More slideshows, then answer the topic questions. Your sprint score feeds the phase readiness score once you have completed all three skill sets in that phase.
What are Teach Me and Check Yourself?
Teach Me is the lesson at the start of each sprint: a short briefing with Overview and Critical Info, plus Check Yourself flip cards to quiz yourself before the questions. Teach Me More opens optional full-screen slideshows with extra visuals and exam detail on that topic.
How do I reset my progress?
On the Learning Board, open Study tools and choose Reset readiness & history. That clears practice scores, sprint history stored on your device, and saved Practice Exam attempts for this course. Your original course attestation stays on record; the quick Focus Here tip shows again. Reset cannot be undone.
How should I prepare before taking my certification exam?
Use the program’s lessons and sprint practice to build readiness in short sessions, then schedule the official exam with the issuing authority when you feel prepared. Outcomes depend on your background and study time.
