How can we help?
Cap app
Feed, My Courses, Activity, Profile, creators, tips, and Cap how-tos.
How do I use the Cap app?
Cap is Learn Sugar’s social course marketplace. After you sign in, the bottom dock is Feed · Activity · My Courses · Sugar Rush · Profile (creators see Studio in the center instead of My Courses). Feed is home — search and discover courses, then Enroll on a course landing. My Courses lists what you unlocked. Sugar Rush answers how-tos and helps you study Soft B-format courses (Reading, Flip, Practice, board). Profile holds Account settings, Support, Billing, Report (where shown), and Become a Creator.
How do I create an account in Cap?
On Cap Sign in, tap Create account (or New here?). Use Apple, Google, or email with confirm password. After auth you pick an @username, then land on Feed. Sign in keeps Apple/Google plus Face ID beside Sign in when available.
How do I find and enroll in a course on Cap?
From Feed, search by course title or topics (or @handle for creators). Tap a course → course landing → Enroll. Paid Cap courses unlock with Apple IAP at $5, $10, or $15 for about one month of access (rebuy to continue). Free Cap courses unlock with Enroll at no charge. After enroll, stay on the landing and tap Continue (or open My Courses) to return to that course landing — then study from there. Cap does not open website Stripe checkout for digital courses.
How do I tip a creator?
Tip is optional on the Cap course landing only (not on Feed cards). Choose $2, $3, or $4 via Apple IAP. Tips thank the creator and do not unlock the course or extend access.
How do I become a Creator?
Everyone starts as a learner. On Cap Profile, tap Become a Creator (below Support) and submit the apply form (subject, background, and social/website — all required). After approval you can create and publish courses. Creators keep the same learner permissions plus create/publish — they are not admins.
How do I create and publish a course?
Approved creators: open Studio from the Cap dock (center tab) → Create a course. Build your draft (topics, modules, Reading / Flip / Practice / slideshow as offered). Going Public is not instant — it creates an admin review ticket; wait for approval. Any completed edit must re-submit for publish and wait again. Cap paid prices are $5 / $10 / $15 only.
How do I report content on Cap?
Report is for abuse/spam UGC — not grades. On a Cap course landing or creator/learner profile, open Report (⋯ or Report), pick a reason (spam/scam, harassment/hate, sexual, violence/illegal, IP/copyright, or Other), and submit. You’ll see thanks — we’ll review. The reported person is not shown who reported them.
Where is Activity and push on Cap?
Activity is the dock tab next to Feed — it opens your notification inbox (new support replies, builds, follows, and similar). Support messages also create Activity items and can push to your phone. Turn Push notifications on or off in Profile → Account settings. Opening Activity / marking read clears the unread badge.
Where is Profile and Account settings on Cap?
Profile is the rightmost Cap dock tab — a full page (not a drawer). From Profile open Account settings (@handle, legal name/email, Security including Face ID and delete account, Support, Push notifications), Billing, Support, and Become a Creator when you are still a learner. Cap appearance is dark by default.
